A Royal Visit

My lovely man recently took me on day trip to visit Hampton Court Palace. Hampton Court has really fond memories for me as I used to go there a lot as a child. I’m also a sucker for anything to do with history – especially palaces!

We had a fabulous day, gazing at tapestries, paintings and getting lost in the maze. Days spent like this always make me feel so proud to live in a country with such a rich historical past.

Hampton Court is a special place for me too, although I’ve not visited for far too long. (And that’s disgraceful, really, because I don’t live far away). Great pictures – I especially love the ones of the kitchens – that’s a place for serious cooking.

Thanks Phil – it’s such a lovely place isn’t it! I had severe kitchen envy – especially all the lovely copper pots & pans.
